ALL SALES ARE FINAL All sales are final. No returns accepted. In the event of a refund, a 30% restocking fee applies to cover the cost of care and handling of the fish.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE MidWest Bettas ships every Monday via USPS Priority Mail. By placing your order, you confirm that you will be available to receive the package. We are not responsible if the customer is unavailable to receive the shipment.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE — DOA In the event of a DOA (dead on arrival), the buyer must send a photo of the fish inside the unopened bag within 1 hour of delivery. The tracking timestamp will be reviewed. No exceptions. Refunds are issued as store credit toward a future purchase. Shipping is non-refundable.

MARBLING All bettas are assumed to carry the marble gene. Colors such as Koi, Marble, Butterfly, and similar variations may change after being photographed. MidWest Bettas is not responsible for color changes that occur after the official product photo was taken. If a significant change occurs before shipping, we will contact you.

FIN CHEWING Long-finned betta varieties may chew their fins during transit. MidWest Bettas is not responsible for any fin damage occurring during shipping.

QUARANTINE MidWest Bettas imports directly from Thailand and aclimates all fish before listing. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to quarantine any fish before introducing it to an established aquarium.

BETTA CARE It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a proper environment — clean water, temperature between 78–82°F, and quality food. MidWest Bettas is not responsible for buyer negligence. Our bettas are premium imports and may be more sensitive than fish from pet store chains.

HOLDS No holds. Only purchase if you are ready to receive the fish the following Monday after your order.

SHIPPING FEES All shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
